What It Is

What It Is

Bizu is a bead activity that lets kids build bracelets, and then, with a few quick twists, transform those bracelets into adorable, collectible animals. Deluxe Packs are new themed kits that include everything kids need to make four Bizu animal bracelets. Themes include Rock, Glam, Wild, and Funky. Each kit comes with two double-sided template cards to show the order the beads should be placed. Attach the elastic band to the attach tool. Then slide on the beads in order. Remove the attach tool and snap both ends of the elastic band together to create a bracelet. With a few twists, kids can turn the bracelet into a cute beaded animal character.

Each Deluxe Pack comes with four heads, eight charms, five body beads, 16 leg/arm beads, four tails, four elastic bands with clasps, a bracelet beading tool, a clip, two double-sided character template cards, and an instruction guide.

Why It’s Fun

With Bizu, girls can get creative and express themselves through unique beaded jewelry. And with the themed Deluxe Packs, girls can choose the theme that speaks most to them. There are more than 50 Bizu characters to collect, and all the pieces can be mixed and matched to create more than 12,000 variations. It's easy to take the bracelets apart and create a whole new bracelet. Girls will like collecting, creating, wearing, and sharing Bizu.

Who It’s For

Bizu Deluxe Packs are for ages 6 and up.

What to Be Aware of

Themed two-packs that let kids create two Bizu character bracelets are also available for about $5.99.

Lining up the beads and getting the right amount of stretch on the cord to accommodate all the beads took a few tries, so kids should be encouraged to try again if it doesn't work the first time. Once you get the hang of it, making the jewelry with Bizu is easy. Girls on the younger end of the spectrum still might need help from mom or dad, with the stringing of the beads as they learn to manipulate the bracelet into an animal.

It's important to put the beads on in the correct order for the transformation from bracelet to animal to work.
