Gooey Louie Review (Goliath Games)

What It Is

Goliath Games is bringing back the game Gooey Louie, which was a big hit in 1995. The object of the game is to reach into Louie's nose and "pick" a winner. Load the gooeys into Louie's nose, and then take turns sticking your finger up Louie's nose to pull out a gooey. You don't want to pick the gooey that makes Louie's brain pop open or you lose. You can play the game two ways: taking turns pulling out one gooey at a time or rolling the die to determine how many gooeys you pick on your turn. Gooey Louie comes with one Gooey Louie, one jumping brain, one base, 12 gooeys, a rubber band, a die, and instructions. This game is for two or more players.

Is It Fun?

This is a great silly game with lots of naughty and gross fun. And that's what kids at this game's target age are fascinated by. Kids will love giggling about the grossness and picking Louie's nose, all while knowing that it's clean and safe. As a result, they feel free to revel in the slightly disgusting silliness of it.

Who It’s For

Gooey Louie is for ages 4 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The game instructions are very clear. The set comes with two rubber bands that make the mechanism work, but don't worry if you lose them (and you might) any small, household rubber band will work. Hang on to the directions so you know how it goes together.
