Fubbles No-Spill Bubble Froggy Review (Little Kids, Inc.)

What It Is

The Fubbles No-Spill Bubble Froggy is a frog-shaped bubble blower with a cone-shaped mouthpiece that funnels air directly to the bubble wand and keeps bubble solution away from a child's mouth. It comes with a two-ounce bottle of bubble solution that you pour into the bottom reservoir chamber no higher than the fill line. Press the button to dip the bubble wand into the solution, and you'll need to do this about six times to prime the wand before blowing bubbles. Because this toy is "no-spill," no solution will leak out if kids turn this toy upside down.

Is It Fun?

While the "no-spill" feature works really well and this bubble blower has a cute design, the bubble-blowing action is not consistent. Little Kids says that it works best if you blow through the mouthpiece with steady light breaths, but the bubbles popped as soon as they left the wand whether we were using light or heavy breaths. Even though this is supposed to be easier for little kids to use, we think the specific technique required for successful bubbles could be a bit frustrating.

Who It’s For

The Fubbles No-Spill Bubble Froggy is for ages 2 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Removing the bottom reservoir in order to fill it with bubble solution requires a bit of strength, and should be done by an adult.

If the bubble reservoir gets to be about halfway full, you'll need to refill it otherwise the bubble wand won't get coated with solution.
