Color Wonder Fingerpaints & Paper Review (Crayola)

What It Is

Mess-free Color Wonder products have been a huge hit with kids-and parents-since they were first introduced. The secret is that the color only shows up when the medium is applied to the special Color Wonder paper. The Crayola Color Wonder Fingerpaints and Paper set includes five different color paints in a handprint holder that has a sponge in the center. Dampen the sponge in the center to wipe off fingers while changing colors. The set also includes 12 sheets of 10-inch x 17-inch paper for big creations.

Is It Fun?

What we like about this set is that it really does feel like traditional fingerpaints-nice and thick and feels great as it's applied to the paper. We really love this, but lefties will wish this was available in a left-handed version, too. Honestly, though that doesn't matter so much, as it's easy to use, particularly as you probably want to stabilize it with one hand while you take the paint on your fingers. What this is really about is getting kids painting and creating-and this does that very well.

Who It’s For

Crayola Color Wonder Fingerpaints & Paper is for ages 3 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

While Color Wonder paints won't show up on anything but the special paper, it shouldn't be used on wallpaper and other surfaces, and you should wipe it off fairly quickly if it gets there. Full instructions on use are on the package.
