Go Wild! Review (PAAS)

What It Is

Kids can go wild with their egg decorating this Easter by using the PAAS Go Wild! Easter egg decorating kit. First, kids dye their Easter eggs, and then use the 45 stickers and six animal print Eggarounds to decorate the eggs. The kit comes with six dye tablets that are supposed to dissolve in less than three minutes, although the method you use will affect the dissolving time. You can use vinegar, lemon juice, or water to dissolve the tablets. Each method will affect the color of your eggs in a different way. The included egg dipper makes it easy to place your hard-boiled eggs in the color baths and remove them. Use the back of the packaging to let your dyed eggs dry fully before decorating. To use the stickers, just peel them from the sticker sheet and stick them on your eggs. To attach the Eggarounds, slip an Eggaround over an egg and either submerge the egg in boiling water for three seconds or use a hair dryer to blow hot air around the egg for five to 10 seconds. You can cut out eight animal print egg stands from the sides of the packaging.

Is It Fun?

Dyeing eggs is a fun and creative activity that families can do together for Easter. This kit gives the classic activity an update with animal print stickers and embellishments that give the dyed eggs a little bit of fashion inspiration.

Who It’s For

The PAAS Go Wild! egg kit is for ages 3 and up. Adult supervision is recommended.

What To Be Aware Of

We used jumbo-sized hardboiled eggs, and the Eggarounds were not big enough to fit all the way around the eggs. You might want to try smaller eggs. We also had a hard time getting our stickers to stick to the eggs, so we glued them on.

The dye tablets may stain certain surfaces or fabrics, so it's recommended that you wear an apron or old clothes and cover your work area when using this kit.

Additional PAAS egg-decorating kits are available and sold separately.
