Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Z-Line Ninjas Billboard Breakout Review (Playmates Toys)

What It Is

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are scaling new heights with the Z-Line Ninjas line of playsets that attach to your wall. Each playset can be used together to create a zip-lining Turtles world. The Billboard Breakout playset attaches to a wall using Command Strips from 3M. Four Command Strips are included along with four wall clips, a C-Clamp, a Gargoyle Launcher, a C-Curve, two tension cylinders, two Z-Line pulleys, a two-hand handle, a Z-Line harness, two 48-inch zip lines, a 72-inch zip line, and an angle gauge. Once the playset is set up, you can send your Turtles zipping down the zip line and into the trigger gate to dump the bad guys off the billboard platform. That will also send other Turtles action figures zip-lining off the playset and onto another playset. Turtles action figures and additional playsets are sold separately.

Is It Fun?

This wall-mounted playset is a cool new way for kids to engage in Turtles play. Kids will like watching their action figures zip line around, triggering action points and defeating the bad guys.

Who It’s For

Billboard Breakout is for ages 4 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The instructions were pretty easy to follow, although it's going to take some planning in order to determine where each piece is going to go. The launcher needs to be higher than the playset, and in order for an action figure to zip-line from the launcher to the playset, the launcher will need to be on an adjacent wall. The C-Curve piece lets figures round corners or zigzag from wall to wall, so it's probably best for a corner. This is actually going to take up quite a bit of space, and it's recommended that you select an area that is four-feet wide by four-feet deep by four-feet tall. In addition to adjacent angled walls, parallel walls and furniture can also be used to take full advantage of the playset's features.

You'll also need to determine the best height for the playset. Will your child sit on the floor and play with this or play standing up?

If you need to remove the playset, make sure you carefully follow the removal instructions for best results.
