EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

From the author of Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny, Sunshine and Snowballs is a very sweet rhyming tale about two children's discovery of the seasons. They explore the magical colors, sounds and sights of our natural world including singing birds, blooming violets and even rumbling thunder.

Is It Fun?

The story is very light and a quick read, but children will want to ponder each page as stunning artwork which really brings the wonders of spring, summer, winter and fall alive. While Sunshine and Snowballs will make a cuddly bedtime read, it doesn't have the same charm that would make it a childhood staple as do Ms. Brown's earlier works.

Who It’s For

Toddlers and preschoolers are the best age for this title.
