Road Rippers Rock & Roller Hot Rod Review (Toy State)

What It Is

Road Rippers Rock & Roller Hot Rod is a classically styled hot rod reminiscent of cars that were hot in the early 1960s. For today's kids, this is a basic battery-operated car. The car features lights and sounds, and it's activated by three buttons on the top. There are no instructions included, but it's pretty intuitive. Push the forward arrow to move the car forward and the back arrow to go backward. When you push either of those buttons, the car moves about 25 feet, and you'll see it light up and hear the motor rumble. Push the square button, and the car will move forward and backward. There's a switch on the bottom of the car that can enhance or minimize the sounds.

Is It Fun?

This is good, basic vehicle play, and the car is powerful enough that we can imagine kids creating obstacles and courses for it. In other words, engaging in creative and open-ended play.

Who It’s For
