Polar Expedition Review (Kiwi Crate)

What It Is

If you're looking for a winter-themed craft kit for the kids this season, then Kiwi Crate's Polar Expedition might be just the one for you. This kit comes with all the materials needed to create two craft projects.

Dress up as a polar bear and play catch with My Bear Snowball Toss. Kids use the pre-cut felt bear paw pieces, lacing yarn, a headband, a ball, and Velcro coins to make a polar bear costume and ball. The Velcro coins on the ball stick to the sticky felt on each bear paw so that kids can easily toss and catch the ball back and forth.

With My Polar Window Clings, kids can decorate the windows with polar animals using 3-D paint, glue, and design cards.

The kit also includes a snowflake cookie cutter and instructions for making snowflake marshmallows to decorate and eat with hot cocoa.

Is It Fun?

These are fun craft activities that kids can make indoors on cold and snowy days this winter. Kids will love decorating windows and playing catch outside with items that they have made themselves.

Who It’s For

Polar Expedition is for ages 3–7. Kiwi Crate says that My Polar Window Clings has a medium grownup involvement level, while My Bear Snowball Toss has a low grownup involvement level.

What To Be Aware Of

Kiwi Crate also has a subscription service. For $19.95 a month, the company will send your child a crate filled with themed activities that kids can put together themselves and play with. You don't need to subscribe to order the Polar Expedition kit.
