Monster High Art Class Draculaura Review (Mattel)

What It Is

The ghouls of Monster High are getting creative with the Art Class line of dolls. Like all Monster High dolls, Art Class Draculaura is as fashion-forward as ever. She's wearing a dress with dripping paint and paint splatter patterns, pink and yellow tulle trim, and a webbed-print apron. Her accessories include a headband, pink earrings, and detailed platform wedges. She comes with a doll stand, a hairbrush, a heart-shaped paint pallette, a paintbrush, a journal filled with personal entries and artwork, and of course, her completed art project: a self-portrait. But because Draculaura can't see her own reflection, she has to rely on existing portraits of herself for reference while painting her self-portrait. Her finished masterpiece has a Picasso feel to it and is framed in pink.

Is It Fun?

This is a fun, fashionable doll with an equally engaging story to match. The art theme will appeal to kids who also enjoy their school's art class, but every Monster High fan will love the icy details of Art Class Draculaura and will want to add her to their collections. The Art Class line encourages creative play and roleplay.
