Sofia the First: The Floating Palace Review (Disney Publishing)

What It Is

Sofia the First: The Floating Palace is an interactive app based on the Sofia the First Disney Channel primetime special of the same name. In the special, Sofia is magically transformed into a mermaid and, with the help of Princess Ariel, learns to work together in order to save a friend from a sea monster. This story is retold in the app through an animated e-storybook. But kids can also create their own stories featuring the characters from The Floating Palace. Choose a background scene, the characters, and the music, then press record and move the characters around the screen. Kids can also record themselves providing narration and character voices for their scene. When your scene is finished, save it so you can watch it over and over again. You can also save the video to your device's photos, making it easy for parents to share the video with family and friends via email or social network.

Is It Fun?
