My Mommy’s Tote Review (Workman Publishing)

What It Is

My Mommy's Tote is a fun and interactive book that combines two of toddlers' favorite things: lift-the-flap books and looking through mommy's purse. This book has 14 sturdy cardboard die-cut pages with multiple flaps to lift and unfold, cutouts, and a wheel to turn. The wheel can help kids learn the alphabet and how to count from 1 to 12. There's also a cardboard laptop that kids can take out and open. The copy in the book is about different things mommies and kids do and what they are like from a child's perspective. It's a sweet story filled with everything from a passport to perfume to a baseball. Each page has little surprises for kids to discover. It also has real fabric handles, making it easy for kids to carry around.

Is It Fun?

My Mommy's Tote is a mini edition of a book of the same name that was introduced a couple years ago. And some people may like this one even better because, while it has tons of interactive features, there are no separate parts aside from the laptop. This would make a great book for at home or on the go.

Who It’s For
