The Original Tim Flying Bird Review (Schylling)

What It Is

The Original Tim Flying Bird is a rubber band-powered toy bird that flies 150 feet. It's made of mylar and nylon and has a 15.5-inch wingspan. To fly, hold the bird upside down and wind the crank no more than 50 times. Turn the bird upright, position the tail up, and then at the same time press the switch under the right wing and lightly toss the bird up and away. Don't throw it like a glider. This comes with an extra rubber band if you need to replace it.

Is It Fun?

This toy bird really does fly, and you'll get the best flying experience if you use it in a wide open space. It also works best if you wind it exactly 50 times, instead of 30 or 40. This colorful toy bird looks cool in flight and it's durable enough that it can hit the ground or an obstacle and not fall apart.

Who It’s For

The Original Tim Flying Bird is for ages 7 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The manufacturer recommends that you don't use rubber bands other than the ones that come with the toy. Additional replacement rubber bands can be purchased separately.
