Alphabet Apple Review (VTech)

What It Is

The Alphabet Apple introduces preschoolers to a variety of early learning concepts through eight learning activities. When kids turn on the Alphabet Apple, the light-up worm will greet them. Slide the worm at any time to hear it sing one of three songs: "The Alphabet Song", "Apples and Bananas", and "Glow Worm". Kids can also move the worm clockhand to hear what time it is and a related phrase. The activity slider on the left side is how kids switch between the seven other activity modes. In Phonics Fun, press a letter button to hear its name and sound. In Alphabet Explorer, press a letter button to hear a word that starts with that letter. In Super Speller, kids must follow the light-up buttons to spell the word. In Hungry Worm, kids press the light-up buttons to count. Follow the Lights is a memory game where kids watch the buttons light up and repeat the pattern. Quiz Time quizzes kids about letters, sounds, time, and letter order. Music Party includes 26 melodies, each with its own light pattern. The Alphabet Apple's carry handle makes it easy to take this toy on the go.
