KidiKaraoke Review (VTech)

What It Is

With KidiKaraoke, preschoolers can sing along to 15 kid-friendly songs, including "Take Me Out to the Ball Game", "The Alphabet Song", and "Bingo". There are three ways to play with KidiKaraoke. First, kids can sing along to songs by selecting one of the three songs modes: Letter Songs, Number Songs, and Sing & Move Songs. Each mode features five different kid-friendly songs, and kids can choose which song they'd like to hear by pressing one of the light-up buttons. Kids can sing along with the singer or press the voice button to turn off the singer's vocals and sing alone. Kids can also use the Voice Effect Selector to change the sound of their voice by adding an echo or robot effect, for example, as they sing. To put on a freestyle show, press the talk button and a cheering crowd animation will play on the screen as your child performs his own concert. Kids can also choose one of five games to play in Game mode. Each game uses the microphone to play. If at any time you want to stop the music or the game, just press the stop button. This toy also includes a carry handle and detachable strap for on-the-go play.

Is It Fun?

This is a fun and musical way to help preschoolers with letters and numbers as well as engage them in rock star roleplay. Kids will love singing and dancing along to the music and using the microphone to play games.
