Laugh & Learn Love to Play Sis Review (Fisher-Price)

What It Is

Laugh & Learn Love to Play Sis is a cute, plush puppy that introduces babies to letters, numbers, counting, parts of the body, colors, feelings, manners, and more through more than 40 songs, tunes, and phrases. To activate the puppy, press any of the body parts that are marked: right ear, right foot, hands, and tummy. There are two modes of play, Learning mode and Music mode, along with an "off" button that can be found on the puppy's right foot. The modes aren't that different because the puppy talks and plays songs in both modes, but the Learning mode focuses more on teaching parts of the body and colors, while the Music mode has more general songs and phrases. Some of the songs the puppy sings include classics: "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider", "Head, Shoulder, Knees, and Toes", and "Do Your Ears Hang Low?" The puppy also says "Give me a kiss", "Let's clap", and more. Babies will also like the puppy's light-up heart.

Is It Fun?

Laugh & Learn Love to Play Sis helps promote fine motor skills, strengthen sensory development, and encourage hand-eye coordination. It's a cute toy for kids to play with on their own, but it also offers a fun way for parents to interact and teach their babies new things.

Who It’s For

Laugh & Learn Love to Play Sis is for ages 6 months–36 months.

What To Be Aware Of

Three AA batteries are included for the in-store try-me purposes. Fisher-Price recommends replacing them before you play for best results.

It was difficult for us to activate the buttons on the puppy. The buttons seemed to have shifted so they didn't line up properly. This also made it difficult to turn off the puppy. There is an "off" button along with two different volume settings on the back of the puppy, though, which is useful because the toy is very sensitive and will start singing or talking as soon as one of the marked body parts is touched.
