Monster High Catty Noir Review (Mattel)

What It Is

There's a new student at Monster High. Catty Noir is the 16-year-old daughter of a Werecat. She's giving up her life as a famous pop star to join the ranks of the Monster High student body as a regular ghoul. Aside from being super famous, Catty is also superstitious. She always eats the same thing two hours before every concert: seven chicken nuggets, five apple slices, and one strawberry shake. She also wears lucky shoes and a piece of broken mirror when she's on stage. Kids can see Catty's freaky flaws reflected in the outfit worn by the Catty Noir doll. The doll wears silver boots that look like they've been shattered like a mirror. The same shattered effect can be seen on the silver bodice of the doll's dress. The doll's pink skirt features silver accents and a long shredded train. The doll also wears silver and pink bracelets, a pink necklace, and a pink "13" earring. The doll's tail is movable. Catty Noir comes with a microphone, a hairbrush, and a journal.

Is It Fun?

Catty Noir is a great new addition to the lineup of Monster High ghouls. As with all the Monster High dolls, Catty is a great combination of style and humor. We especially love the shattered mirror and other superstitious details built into her outfit. This doll will appeal to Monster High fans and inspire lots of imaginative play.
