Air Hogs Drop Strike Review (Spin Master)

What It Is

The Air Hogs Drop Strike from Spin Master is an RC hybrid vehicle that can drive on land and fly.

Is It Fun?

The Drop Strike is like two RC vehicles in one. It goes from a land vehicle to a flying helicopter with the push of a button on the controller. Once detached, the helicopter launches off of the wheel base and takes to the air.

The Drop Strike has two missile bays on either side of the vehicle. The missiles can be fired in either land or air mode by pressing the upper right button on the controller. Firing the missiles while in flight is a blast (pun intended) and we think kids are really going to enjoy this feature.

Who It’s For

The Drop Strike is for Air Hogs fans, ages 10 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The controller also acts as the vehicle's charger so kids will have everything they need to drive, pilot and recharge the Drop Strike wherever they are playing.

The Drop Strike is intended as an indoor vehicle but it should only be flown in a large, open room, especially when you or your kids are just learning how to pilot it. Don't be discouraged if you don't master this immediately. It will take some practice to get used to the controls.

The Drop Strike is available in black or red.

The controller requires six AA batteries, which are not included.
