Little People Fun Sounds Farm Review (Fisher-Price)

What It Is

Kids can have fun on the farm with the Little People Fun Sounds Farm. This farm playset comes with a Little People Eddie figure, a chicken, a horse, a cow, a sheep, and a hay bale. Kids can also set up the three fence pieces however they want or connect the fences to other Little People playsets, which are sold separately. Kids can drop the hay bale or any of the figures through the silo and down the slide to hear fun animal sounds. Open and close the three white doors to hear more sounds and songs. Turn the clock on the front of the playset to change from day to night mode. Kids will hear different songs and sounds in each mode. The chicken in the coop makes a clicking sound when turned.

Is It Fun?

This farm-themed playset will engage toddlers and preschoolers in all kinds of open-ended and imaginative play. Kids will like hearing the sounds and songs play as they interact with the figures and various parts of the playset. Dropping the hay bale through the silo and placing the figures throughout the playset also helps young kids with fine motor skills.

Who It’s For

The Little People Fun Sounds Farm is for ages 1–4.

What To Be Aware Of

Two AA batteries are included for the in-store try-me features. It's recommended that you replace them before you play for best results.

Assembly is required, and you'll need a Phillips screwdriver, which is not included. It took us about 10 minutes to put this together. Make sure you snap the top of the playset into the bottom of the playset all the way or you'll have trouble switching between day and night modes.

The instructions say that opening the silo door causes sounds to play, but that is not the case. Opening the three white farm doors is what activated the sounds on our playset.
