The Blade Runner Series Heliquad 2.4 is an R/C flying toy that brings advanced, hobby-level four-channel flying technology to beginner and advanced fliers. This operates on a 2.4GHz frequency, and up to six units can fly in the same area within a 100-foot range. This features a built-in gyroscope for balance-control assistance. Before you play, you'll need to charge the toy's built-in lithium-polymer battery for 30 to 75 minutes. You can charge it using the included USB cord. That charge time gives you about four to seven minutes of flight time. The battery-powered remote control includes options for trim, to keep the Heliquad from veering too far right or left, and a button for tricks.
While this is a lot of fun to fly, there is a learning curve. The instructions are easy to follow, but it can still be hard to control the first couple of times. With the different remote options, there is a lot of set-up involved before you start flying. This is definitely not an R/C toy for younger kids.
The Blade Runner Series Heliquad 2.4 is for ages 12 and up.
The Blade Runner Series Heliquad 2.4 requires three AA batteries.
This is available at BJ's Wholesale, Costco, Radio Shack, and Museum Tour.
