Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy Review (Fisher-Price)

What It Is

With the Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy, babies are introduced to letters, numbers, counting, parts of the body, colors, feelings, and more through more than 40 songs, tunes, and phrases. There are two modes of play: Learning mode and Music mode, which can both be activated by pressing the appropriate spot on the puppy's right foot. The modes aren't that different in that the puppy talks and plays songs in both modes, but Learning mode focuses more on teaching parts of the body and colors, while Music mode has more general songs and phrases. Some of the songs include classic, such as "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider", "If You're Happy and You Know It", "Pat-a-cake", and "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes". The puppy also says "Hug me", "I love you", "Peek-a-boo", and more. Babies will like the puppy's bright colors and light-up heart.

Is It Fun?

The Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy helps promote fine motor skills, strengthens sensory development, and encourages hand-eye coordination. It's a cute toy for kids to play with on their own, but it also offers a fun way for parents to interact and teach their babies new things.

Who It’s For

The Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy is for ages 6 months–36 months.

What To Be Aware Of

Three AA batteries are included, but Fisher-Price recommends replacing these before you play for best results.

The toy has two volume settings and an "off" button on the back, which is useful because it can be difficult to find the exact spot on the foot to switch modes and shut it off at times.
