That’s It! Review (Gamewright)

What It Is

The object of the party game That's It! is to be the first player to win three cards over a series of rounds by shouting out the most correct answers to the written topics. To start the first round, one player must be the Reader. The Reader draws a card from the box and reads aloud the first topic. Each card has five topics. All other players, without taking turns, immediately shout out answers with the aim of being the first to say the "It" word written on the card. There's no penalty for shouting out wrong answers. As soon as the Reader hears the word, she shouts, "That's it!" and points to whoever said it first. Then, the Reader hands that player a random facedown token. There are point values on the other side of the tokens, and these should remain hidden until the end of the round. The Reader continues reading off the next few topics and awarding tokens. The last topic on the card is a bonus and worth two tokens to whoever gets it.

Once the card is complete, all players reveal and add up the values on their tokens. Whoever has the highest total wins the topic card. Start a new round by mixing up all the tokens in the middle of the playing space and selecting a new Reader. The game ends as soon as one player has collected three cards.

That's It! comes with 200 cards, 12 tokens, and instructions. It is for three or more players.
