The Fact or Crap Card Game is based on the Fact or Crap board game version, a fast-paced trivia game where players must decide if something is fact or crap. The card game plays similarly but with some minor modifications. The object of the game is to be the first player to collect five cards. Take turns drawing a card from the deck and reading aloud one of the statements on the card to the player next to you. There are three statements on each card, and the guessing player gets to choose which question number (1, 2, or 3) to answer. Once that statement is read aloud, the guesser decides whether it is fact or crap. If the guesser answers correctly, he keeps the card. If answered incorrectly, the card is returned to the bottom of the deck.
If an All Play question is drawn, all players except the reader have a chance to win the card by being the first to shout out the correct answer. If a Rush Hour card is drawn, the guesser must correctly answer all three questions on the card to win it. If a Wild Card is drawn, the guesser follows the instructions on the card, which could be to keep the Wild Card and add it to your score pile.
The game comes with 43 Question Cards and five Wild Cards. It is for two or more players.
If you're looking for a faster and more on-the-go-friendly way to play Fact or Crap, this card game is for you. It's a fun trivia game that tests how much you know, even if you don't know much. But part of the fun is learning that sometimes fact is stranger than fiction. However, with only 43 question cards, you might find the questions repeating themselves after playing through the deck a few times.
The Fact or Crap Card Game is for ages 12 and up.
The Fact or Crap board game and Hollywood Fact or Crap board game are also available and sold separately.
