Hexbug Nano V2 Review (Innovation First)

What It Is

The new Hexbug Nano V2 line features an evolved Nano, sporting a new look with three rubber spines on its back as well as a new system of tubular tracks that highlight the Nano V2's unique multi-level climbing abilities. These new Nanos can climb up vertically, horizontally, around corners, and through loops and tubes. It climbs on its feet or back and can pass another bug in a single tube to avoid a traffic jam. It can even flip to its feet when landing on its back on an open, flat surface. The Hexbug Nano V2 is available in six colors and patterns. Each comes with one straight tube and one connector that can be added to any of the Hexbug Nano V2 sets. Each Hexbug Nano V2 is sold separately.

Is It Fun?

For new or old Hexbugs fans, the Nano V2 line is a really cool expansion. These individual Nano V2 Hexbugs are pretty cool to watch climb up and down the included tube, but kids will really have a blast and get to see all that the Nano V2s can do when added to a larger set, which is sold separately.
