Xploderz Sneak Attack X3 Review (The Maya Group)

What It Is

The Xploderz Sneak Attack X3 from Maya Group is a blaster that shoots unique ammo beads. The beads start off as tiny dots but when you add water, they grow to pea-sized pellets that explode when fired.

Is It Fun?

When wet, the ammo beads will shoot up to 125-feet from the blaster. While that on its own makes this a fun Xploderz blaster, the Sneak Attack X3 has a secret that makes it a blast (pun intended). The blaster has a pivoting barrel that can be turned 90-degrees to the left or right, which allows you to fire around a corner. You can even target something around the corner using the targeting mirror that's attached to the top of the blaster.

The blaster also has a switch that allows you to shoot 1, 2 or 3 rounds at once.

Who It’s For

The Sneak Attack blaster is intended for kids, ages 8 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

We tested the blaster's "Ouch Factor" at TimetoPlayMag.com HQ and it hurt when hitting someone from about 10 feet away. It definitely should not be used to shoot people at close distances. The Sneak Attack comes with 1000 Xploderz ammo beads and an ammo clip that attaches to the top of the blaster. It also comes with an ammo depot that you fill with water and the beads then use it to reload the ammo clip.
