Fresh Baby Changing Station Review (Boon)

What It Is

The Fresh Baby Changing Station from Boon has a sleek and modern design, a slip-resistant, and a foam pad that is supposed to contour to your baby's shape. The best part about this is that the foam pad is removable, and it can easily be cleaned with soap and water. It also has an attachable toy hook that you snap in place for hanging one of your baby's favorite toys.

Why Is It Useful?

The hanging toy feature is a good way to keep babies occupied during diaper changing, which many babies hate. However, there are a few things we think you should know. The changing area is a little over two feet, so it's probably better suited to younger babies as toddlers won't fit on it comfortably. Also, the foam pad isn't that soft, so it's not super comfortable for a baby to lay on. It also doesn't include straps for securing your baby while he is in the changing station. Once your child starts rolling around and then, eventually, moving around, there is nothing to keep him in place.

While the Fresh Baby Changing Station is great for sanitary reasons, it might not be ideal for every baby.

Who It’s For

The Fresh Baby Changing Station is for ages birth and up. There is a maximum weight limit of 30 pounds.

What To Be Aware Of

The Fresh Baby Changing Station is available exclusively at

When we first saw this, we thought it would be great to use as a portable changing station, especially for families with two floors in their home. A lot of parents set up changing stations using a towel or something else so they don't have to keep going to the nursery to change their baby's diaper. This would be a good option to keep in another room. However, for safety reasons, the manufacturer recommends that you secure it to a changing table using the attachment straps. So if you are going to use this as a portable station, it should be used on the floor and not a table or other high surface.
