LEGO Legends of Chima Lion CHI Temple Review (LEGO)

What It Is

The LEGO Legends of Chima: Lion Chi Temple is a huge, 1,258-piece set that builds the Lion Chi Temple, two lion claw bikes, Crawley's reptile raider, an eagle drone fighter and seven Chima Minifigures.

Is It Fun?

The Lion Temple has so many cool features that kids will be entertained for hours just checking them all out. At the very top, is the Sacred Chi Orb that the Chima tribes are fighting over. The Orb is floating on a water fall that cascades down the tower into two streams, which run the length of the tower and form two more water falls. These second falls are hiding the lion tribe's claw bikes, which pop out with the push of a lever. At the entrance to the temple are a drawbridge and the Lion Gate. Another lever retracts the drawbridge and drops the lion gate down to protect the entrance. There are two secret doorways into the temple and the temple's wings can be opened and closed to make it easier to play in. Inside the temple there is a jail, mission room, King's tower, bedroom and thrown room with rotating thrown. There's also a landing platform for the Eagles and a rotating cannon that fires a projectile.
