Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Throw N’ Battle Leonardo Review (Playmates Toys)

What It Is

Kids can throw a favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle into battle with the Throw N' Battle Leonardo. Leonardo starts as an upright action figure, but kids can fold the figure up into what Playmates Toys calls "stealth mode". Drop the figure onto any flat surface, trying to activate the button on Leo's belt to make the figure spring open into action.

Is It Fun?

This is a cute concept that puts the action into action figure. The figure does have to be set correctly for it to work, which means that younger kids may need a little help the first few times they try to do it. Folding the figure up is pretty easy, but trying to set Leo's swords the way the instructions show is difficult. Once kids get the hang of it, this action figure will engage them in all kinds of active Turtles play.

Who It’s For
