KRE-O Cityville Invasion Marina Madness Review (Hasbro)

What It Is

With the KRE-O Cityville Invasion Marina Madness building set, kids can build their own Cityville and defend it from invasion just like in the app. This 206-piece set lets kids build a busy marina with Sharktooth, Dockhand Rusty, Sergeant Splash, Lt. Mari Time, and Ray Manta KREON figures. The set also includes one mystery KREON figure, and kids won't know who it is until they open the box. Marina Madness also includes Sonic Motion Technology that uses vibration to make the KREON figures move. Place figures on the three motion bricks, and press the button on the playset to activate the vibration. The figures will then move around the set. Kids will also hear different sound effects to bring the scene to life.

Is It Fun?

While we like the addition of the Sonic Motion Technology to bring this construction set to life, we also wish it worked a little better. Kids may need to give the figures some help as they move around the playset and adjust the vibration levels because sometimes the figures get stuck in place or fall over. All that aside, this construction set will engage Cityville Invasion fans in lots of imaginative play outside of the app.
