Star Wars Black Series #06 Darth Vader Review (Hasbro)

What It Is

The Star Wars Black Series, #06 Darth Vader is part of Hasbro's 3 3/4-inch Black Series collection of action figures. It is based on Darth Vader's appearance on Cloud City in Star Wars: Episode 5, The Empire Strikes Back from 1980.

Is It Fun?

The figure has a lot of articulation and some really nice details like a removable cloth cape, cloth robe and separate belt. What really makes this figure a must have for kids and collectors are the accessories. This Darth Vader figure comes with two right hands – a standard hand and one that has a blaster deflecting effect that recreates Vader deflecting Han Solo's blaster beams. He also comes with one of the best recreations of Han Solo's gun that we have seen in this scale and an ignited red lightsaber. The hand accessory and Han's gun allow you to recreate the scene on Cloud City when Han, Leia and Chewy found out that Lando had betrayed them and turned them over to Vader.

Who It’s For
