The new Crayola Dome Light Designer has gotten a bit more simplified and gets back to the fun of drawing with Crayola. It uses LED light technology on a 360 degree domed drawing surface to light up kids' designs. To get started, remove the dome from the light platform and set it aside. Pull out the center panel and lay it flat. Kids can then use one of the four included Crayola gel FX markers to create their own designs or visit Crayola.com to print off coloring pages to trace designs onto the dome and panel. When you are finished decorating, slide the panel back in place and reattach the dome cover.
To activate the light features, press down on one or both red buttons. The right button operates the lights on the inner panel and the left button operates the lights on the dome. You can cycle through five different light features for each, making the lights blink at different speeds and rotate around the dome. Push the button a sixth time to turn the light feature off.
Although this dome designer does not have the same spinning feature as the original, we like that it focuses more on the basic fun of coloring and isn't as complicated to operate. This is a fun way for kids to bring their drawings to life, or at least light them up. We think kids will love cycling through the different effects to create their own personalized colorful light show.
The Dome Light Designer is for ages 6 and up.
Use a wet cloth to clear the surface of the dome and panel, and start drawing again.
