The 4-in-1 Dream is a stroller/ride-on trike designed to grow with your child in four stages. In the first stage, the pedals are folded in and parents steer the stroller using the parent handle. In this stage, you'd use the foot rest, padded high-back support, over-the-shoulder seat belts, and canopy to keep your baby safe and comfortable.
At around 18 months, little ones are ready for stage two. Parents remove the long back support and canopy, but keep the side handles for safety. Parents will still push and control the Dream using the parent handle. At this stage, babies start developing confidence and will learn how to balance on the bike in preparation for the next stage.
Around 24 months, convert the stroller to a training trike by removing the safety harness and folding in the footrest. Fold out the non-slip pedals so that children can rest their feet on the pedals and learn how to pedal. The handlebar clutch is also unlocked so kids can start mastering how to steer, but parents can still be in control with the parent handle.
Finally, at about 30 months, your child is ready for stage four. Remove the parent handle, close the safety clutch, and the stroller becomes an independent tricycle for your child to ride on his or her own.
Some other important features of the 4-in-1 Dream include patented Touch Steering technology, shock-absorbent rubber wheels, built-in suspension, an easy-to-use foot brake, and a large front swivel wheel for tight cornering. Accessories include a cup holder, a storage bag, and a basket. It also comes with a toy cell phone.
We like products that have multiple uses and that parents will be able to use for a long time. The 4-in-1 Dream is a stroller/trike that parents will be able to use for a couple of years because it transforms at each stage and grows with the child. Keep in mind that this is really more of a toy tricycle than a stroller. You may be able to substitute it for a stroller, but it's not going to be as durable as a real stroller.
The 4-in-1 Dream is for ages 10 months to 36 months. There is a 38-pound weight limit.
It took us 20 minutes to put this together, and the instructions were easy to follow.
Two AA batteries are required for the toy cell phone.
