Trash Wheels Junk Yard Review (Moose Toys)

What It Is

Trash Wheels Junk Yard is a new playset designed to work with Trash Wheels, a vehicle interpretation of Moose Toys' Trash Pack figures. Just like the collectible figures, there is something gross going on with these cars. They all have a trashy look and wacky style that kids will find hilarious. The cars are free-wheeling and well-designed, and the Junk Yard is an ideal place for them to play. It features tracks and platforms for racing the cars. It also features a car crusher. Place the crushed car in the top of the crusher. Use the crane to lift a car into the crusher and pull the lever. (Kids can make their own crushing sound effects.) The crushed car drops out and your original car is gone. But don't worry. It's just pretend. The original car reappear, intact, with the push of a button, and the whole process starts over again. The set comes with two exclusive Trash Wheels, and additional Trash Wheels are sold separately.

Is It Fun?

Kids who collect Trash Wheels will want to bring them all out for this play. There's a whole lot to play with on this set. One of the things we like most about this set is the car crusher. Moose Toys really understands what tickles kids, and they'll get a kick out of making this work. This is really just basic play with lots of room for the imagination.

Who It’s For

The Trash Wheels Junk Yard is for ages 5 and up. We think the sweet spot for this is going to be ages 5–7 for the humor and play.

What To Be Aware Of

It took us five minutes to assemble the playset.

This set can be combined with other Trash Wheels sets, sold separately, to create an entire Trash Wheels town.
