Disney Princess Hidden Treasures Review (Random House)

What It Is

Disney Princess Hidden Treasures lets young Disney Princess fans uncover hidden treasures from some of their favorite princesses. On each of the book's 10 pages, kids can lift the flaps to uncover the treasures of Merida, Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella. Each page also asks kids to lift flaps to find specific items, such as Cinderella's glass slipper. There are more than 30 flaps to lift, and while kids are looking for the specific items, they will also uncover other treasures, such as Belle's books and Merida's little brothers. The book is written by Andrea Posner-Sanchez and illustrated by Francesco Legramandi and Gabriella Matta.

Is It Fun?

This is a cute book for young Disney Princess fans. Kids are actively involved in the reading process as they lift the flaps. Even if kids can't really read yet, they can pretend to as they play with the book—something that is fun and engaging because it generally makes kids feel more grown-up.

Who It’s For

Disney Princess Hidden Treasures is for ages 2-5.

What To Be Aware Of

The flaps are fairly sturdy but can be hard to open the first time. For younger kids, parents may want to open them before the book with their child to make it easier for the child to lift the flaps.
