WWE Power Slammers Steam Rolling Randy Orton and Thunder Twisting John Cena Review (Mattel)

What It Is

The new WWE Power Slammers figures allow kids to recreate the on-screen wrestling actions of their favorite WWE Superstars. Each figure pack comes with two figures, such as Steam Rolling Randy Orton and Thunder Twisting John Cena. Each figure can be attached to each other or to a battling accessory to create real wrestling action. Turn the crank on the back of the figures to wind them up. Then connect the figures either via feet or hands and arms. Press one figure's head to start the action. Each figure features one of three fighting styles, so when the figures are locked together, they will produce different wrestling combinations. The Steam Rolling Randy Orton and Thunder Twisting John Cena figure pack also includes a ladder accessory.

Is It Fun?

We like the concept of these action figures, but we don't really like the execution. The figures don't stand very well on their own, and it's difficult to attach the figures as shown in the instructions. The figures' hands are not big enough to easily go around a foot or an arm. Also, because you have to press each figure's head (which is also kind of difficult) to activate the movement, your hands are in the way, so when the figures start moving, your hands end up getting hit and ruining the action.

Who It’s For

This Power Slammers figure set is for WWE fans ages 6 and up.
