The tiny but sophisticated Hexbug robots are endlessly fascinating as they mimic the movements of real bugs. Over time, Innovation First has created all kinds of cool sets, so where could they go next? How about up? The stars of the new Hexbug V2 gravity-defying robotics system are these completely new Hexbugs themselves. They have a redesigned exo-skeleton and a new powerful technology that lets them climb inside tubes that kids can build in any kind of vertical or horizontal configuration.
The Hexbug Nano V2 Black Hole set includes 58 pieces that you can mix and match to create different tracks. Central to the track is the black hole itself where the Hexbugs freefall and then find their way into the different tracks. Other tracks and pieces are available and sold separately.
This set comes with two Hexbug Nano V2 robots.
For new or old Hexbugs fans, this is an awesome set. Kids can challenge themselves to build different configurations and use the different accessories and features to change the paths. While this set does come with two Hexbug Nano V2 robots, we think kids are definitely going to want more.
The Hexbug Nano V2 Black Hole is for ages 3 and up.
One button cell battery is included with each bug.
Additional Hexbug Nano V2 robots are available separately for about $7.99 each.
