LEGO City Coast Guard Helicopter Review (LEGO)

What It Is

Kids can fly to the rescue with the 230-piece LEGO City Coast Guard Helicopter building set. With this set, kids can build a helicopter with working winch, wheels, and a spinning rotor. Kids can also build a catamaran sailboat with falling sail function. Lower the helicopter's winch to lift and rescue the sailor in distress. This set comes with four minifigures: pilot, diver, rescuer, and sailor. Each has different accessories, including a life jacket and diving gear. A great white shark figure with opening and closing mouth is also included.

Is It Fun?

This building set features lots of detail and realistic parts that let kids build and play out an action-packed rescue on the water. There is a lot of opportunity for imaginative play with this set.

Who It’s For

The LEGO City Coast Guard Helicopter is for ages 5–12.

What To Be Aware Of

This set took us 45 minutes to build. The instructions were easy to follow. The pieces come in two separate bags, each with its own instruction booklet. Don't mix the pieces from the two bags or building will be confusing.

The catamaran sailboat does not float.
