Sofia the First The Perfect Tea Party Review (Golden Books)

What It Is

Fans of the Disney Junior show Sofia the First might recognize the storyline of the new book Sofia the First The Perfect Tea Party. This 24-page Little Golden Book is based on the episode "Tea for Too Many", written by Doug Cooney. In this book, adapted by Andrea Posner-Sanchez and illustrated by Grace Lee, Sofia is chosen to host a tea party for her classmates at Royal Prep. She wants a simple garden tea party, but her stepbrother and stepsister convince her that a bigger party is better. Sofia listens to them instead of listening to her heart, and things go all wrong right before her guests are to arrive. But Sofia is able to turn things around and host the tea party just the way she wants it.
