Kids can mix, mold, and make their own colorful marshmallow cookies with the Mix a Treat Make Marshmallow Cookies kit. It comes with six molds, three flavors of colored marshmallow powder, gummy powder, a spoon, a pipette, and instructions. You'll also need a cup of warm water. Just fill two molds with marshmallow powder and one mold with gummy powder. Stir water into each mold of powder until the powder dissolves. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, and then peel the gummy candy out of the molds. Sandwich the pieces together and eat.
This kit allows kids to make their own sweet treats safely and easily. A lot of the fun with food activities is in doing the activity, and this one is easy, but it only takes about five minutes to mix everything together, and then you have to wait 30 minutes for your cookies to chill. And you can only make two cookies at a time. Then you eat them. The finished product tastes very sweet and very chewy. It's really not the consistency of marshmallows but rather gummy candy.
Make Marshmallow Cookies is for ages 7 and up.
The gummy and marshmallow powder is made in a facility that processes milk, eggs, soy, and wheat gluten.
Parents who are concerned about their kids eating too much sugar should, of course, monitor consumption.
The packaging shows the marshmallow cookies with different-colored gummy centers. Our gummy powder only came in a yellow color.
