Maudlynne Macabre Review (Tonner Toys)

What It Is

Maudlynne Macabre is a new 15.25-inch fashion doll that is geared toward beginner doll collectors. Maudlynne is a shy and sensitive 10-year-old who can see spirits. She lives in upstate New York in an old Victorian mansion, of course, and spends her nights with her bestie Victoria, who is a ghost, and Edgar Allen the talking raven. Maudlynne is also a fashion-forward tween who is committed to Victorian-era chic in a modern way with fingerless gloves, Mary Janes, a gothic-style dress, a headband, and tights. The doll has 10 points of articulation that make posing the doll easy.

Is It Fun?

Maudlynne Macabre has great detail and a great fashion, not to mention her highly detailed backstory. The doll will definitely appeal to doll collectors, but even though this doll is meant as a collectible doll, the fashion and backstory offer lots of playability for kids.

Who It’s For

Maudlynne Macabre is safety-tested for ages 5 and up, however, we think it might appeal to older kids and doll collectors.
