FirstBIKE Review (The FirstBIKE Company)

What It Is

The FirstBIKE is a two-wheel balance bike meant to develop a child's sense of balance, motor skills, and self-confidence. Because there are no pedals, kids use their feet to push off and propel themselves forward on the bike. The bike has a minimum seat height of 12 inches, and as children get taller (and also faster), the seat height and brake sensitivity can be adjusted without the use of tools. FirstBIKE features a flexible and shock absorbent high-tech frame to protect a child's spine as well as a rear-drum braking system. The bike's seat is a "horse saddle" seat to prevent children from slipping off while riding downhill. At only 8.6 pounds, FirstBIKE is very lightweight, making it easy to transport. There are a variety of different styles (Basic, Street, Cross, Racing, and Limited) and colors ranging in price from $129.99 to $199.99.

Is It Fun?

Learning how to ride a two-wheel bicycle can be difficult for kids. Balance bikes help kids feel comfortable and confident as they learn to ride. FirstBIKE is a great, easy-to-use bike for first-time riders. It gives little kids an encouraging and progressive start to bike riding.

Who It’s For

FirstBIKE is for ages 2–5. The maximum weight limit is 55 pounds.

What To Be Aware Of
