LEGO Star Wars TIE Bomber & Asteroid Field Review (LEGO)

What It Is

The LEGO Star Wars: TIE Bomber and Asteroid Field is a 60-piece construction set that lets kids build a mini-model version of a TIE Bomber and Pilot minifigure.

Is It Fun?

The TIE Bomber has some nice details taken directly from the ship's appearance in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, including the cockpit window and Twin Ion Engines (TIE). The ship also has movable wings. The Pilot comes with a blaster and his helmet comes off to reveal a clone trooper with a mischievous smile. Both the ship and trooper can be displayed on the included stand that features the names of the items in this set.

Who It’s For

This set is intended for LEGO and Star Wars fans ages 6 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Each construction set in this LEGO Star Wars line comes with a planet case that can hold the unconstructed pieces. The planet can be hung by a LEGO loop located on the top.

It took us about 20 minutes to complete this set and most LEGO fans of all ages should have no problems following the clear instructions.

This set is part of LEGO's Series 3 collection, which also includes the Jedi Starfighter with Kamino set and Republic Assault Ship with Coruscant set.
