Agility Stretch Carrier Review (JJ Cole)

What It Is

The JJ Cole Agility Stretch Carrier is an all-fabric, breathable stretch carrier that is pretty easy to use. You slip it on like a T-shirt and follow the instructions for fitting your baby in the carrier. The carrier has a wide and breathable back panel that helps distribute weight evenly through your upper back and shoulders. As your baby grows, you can use the included sash around your lower back for added support. The Agility Stretch Carrier comes in several sizes (small, medium, large, and extra large) to fit the female or male wearer, not the child. Child size is not a factor when choosing your size. The carrier is available in black or gray.

Why Is It Useful?

This carrier is very useful, but we especially liked it for newborns at least eight pounds because the soft fabric is gentle on their skin and it helps aid in early-stage skin-to-skin contact with parent and baby, which is really important for early bonding as well as many other benefits. However, we think it's really best for smaller babies under 15 pounds. When our mom reviewer Maria put a 19-pound baby in this carrier, it caused her lower back to ache. The carrier provides support for the upper back but not really the lower back.

Who It’s For

The Agility Stretch Carrier is for babies eight to 35 pounds.

What To Be Aware Of

The Agility Stretch Carrier can be tossed in the washing machine on a cold cycle for easy clean-up.
