Ballistiks are Hot Wheels cars that transform from spheres to racecars when they hit a hard surface. Part of the fun is sending them flying and watching them transform, and kids can add more power and action to the play with the Ballistiks Rapid Fire Blaster. This gives kids quick-fire capabilities and a special LED sighting system for accuracy. To get started, load the quick-firing arm with up to seven vehicles. Next, point and aim using the LED light as a guide, and pull down on the lever. The Ballistiks will launch as fast as kids can pump the lever. One Ballistiks vehicle is included. Additional vehicles are sold separately. For additional action, add the Ballistiks Combat Carrier, sold separately, to increase the number of Ballistiks that can be launched.
This is classic boys' bashing, crashing vehicle play that has plenty of action. It will inspire all kinds of competitive games as well.
The Ballistiks Rapid Fire Blaster is for ages 5 and up.
Two AA batteries are required but not included.
It took us five minutes to set up the Rapid Fire Blaster. The instructions were very easy to follow. Make sure to remove and discard the try-me tab before play.
The LED light can be hard to see if you are too far away from your target or using it under bright lights.
This toy works best on smooth, hard surfaces.
Ballistiks don't transform every time. When they're in their sphere form, the logo on one side striking the hard surface is what activates the transformation. They have to land on the logo to activate the transforming action.
