Hide-n-Go Fish Review (Learning Resources)

What It Is

There are nine fish hiding inside the Hide-n-Go Fish bowl. Preschoolers must reach inside the plastic fish bowl to reel in the different fish. The vinyl flaps over the fish bowl's opening ensure that kids can't peek inside. There are three colors of fish: orange, green, and purple. Each color has three fish in three different sizes. As kids pull the fish from the bowl, they can attach the fish together like pop beads to organize the fish by color or size.

Is It Fun?

This is a great way to introduce preschoolers to the concepts of big and small and color recognition. Connecting the fish is great for helping preschoolers with fine motor skills. This is hands-on learning and open-ended play that engages a child's creativity and helps develop early learning skills.

Who It’s For

Hide-n-Go Fish is for ages 2 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

While it's suggested for ages 2 and up, parents will want to engage with younger kids to reinforce the basic concepts that they're learning. Kids will play with this differently as they develop, and we think this is probably good for co-play among siblings or friends.

Learning Resources also makes a similar product called Hide-n-Go Moo. It is sold separately.
