Western Fort Review (Playmobil)

What It Is

Kids can journey to the Wild West with the buildable Western Fort. This 371-piece playset features a working flagpole, working cannon, prison cell, and a lookout tower with warning bell. There's even a hidden entrance, and the guard tower can be knocked over during "battle". Tons of accessories from cacti to fort supplies and weapons are included along with six figures (four soldiers and two Native Americans) and three horses.

This set is part of Playmobil's Western theme, which also includes a Goldmine, Native American Camp with Totem Poles, Outlaw Hideout, and more. Each set is sold separately.

Is It Fun?

This set features a lot of detail and accessories to engage kids in lots of open-ended, imaginative play. Kids will like all the working pieces and creating their own Wild West storylines.

Who It’s For

The Western Fort is for ages 4–10.

What To Be Aware Of

It took us one hour to put together the Western Fort. The instructions were easy to follow. We did have trouble getting some of the exterior wall pieces to snap together and stay together.
