Monster High 13 Wishes Twyla Review (Mattel)

What It Is

In the new DVD movie Monster High 13 Wishes, Clawdeen Wolf's sister Howleen Wolf discovers the genie Gigi Grant and her lamp. But in the world of Monster High, she is granted 13 wishes, not just three, and Howleen soon learns that each wish comes with a dark side. It's up to the rest of the Monster High ghouls to save Howleen and the soul of Monster High.

Twyla is a brand new Monster High character and, like the other ghouls, she has a pretty well-known father—the Boogey Man. But unlike her dad, she spends most of her time hiding under normies' bed to capture their bad dreams rather than adding to them. Needless to say she's a little shy and misunderstood.

The 13 Wishes Twyla doll comes outfitted in a purple, black, and turquoise top and ruffled skirt, which match her colorful turquoise and purple streaked hair. She also comes with a dream catcher bracelet, purple wristbands, a belt, and her pet dust bunny Dustin. Also included is a hairbrush, diary, and doll stand.

Is It Fun?

Twyla is a fun new character that Monster High fans will love adding to their collections. And as with all Monster High dolls, Twyla has a unique and fashionable style and storyline that is all her own. Kids will like recreating scenes from the DVD movie and imagining all-new adventures for Twyla.
