The Alex Jr. Finger Paint Paper & Tray lets toddlers make mess-free masterpieces. The red plastic tray comes with 50 pieces of 12-inch x 18-inch glossy paper. The paper is large enough to give kids plenty of room to create.
This can be used for more than just finger painting. Kids can use the tray and paper for coloring or painting with a brush. If you do use it for coloring, the tray will keep the crayons from rolling off the table, which is always useful.
If your child is a budding artist, this is a nice, simple item to keep him busy and let him be creative. However, when we tested out this product using finger paints, we painted on top of the entire pile of paper. Our advice is to remove half the stack of paper when you use this otherwise the top pieces of paper will move all around because they are not secure in the tray.
The Alex Jr. Finger Paint Paper & Tray is for ages 18 months and up.
Finger paints are sold separately. This set only comes with the tray and paper.
This product's packaging says that it is "no mess". But is there really no mess? Well, obviously, kids can still get paint outside of the tray, but it definitely helps contain the mess. It's also a good alternative if your child loves to paint and you don't have room for an easel in your house.
