Monsters University Look-a-Likes Matching Game Review (Spin Master)

What It Is

Kids can match up monsters from the Disney/Pixar movie Monsters University with the Monsters University Look-a-Likes Matching Game. There are two ways to play this game. You can play the standard matching game where all tiles are facedown, and players take turns flipping over the tiles to find matches. Or you can race against each other to see who can make the most matches the fastest.

If you play the second way, place all the tiles with red borders face up in the center of the table. Deal out the tiles with blue borders so that each player has the same number of tiles in his or her pile. Drawing one tile at a time, find the red card in the middle with the look-alike monster on it. The player who finds all of his monsters the fastest wins.

The game comes with 72 monster tiles and instructions. It is for two to four players.

Is It Fun?

Fans of Monsters University will be entertained seeing the monster characters in the cute matching game. And like all matching games, this is great for developing kids' concentration and memory skills, while engaging kids in a fun competition that gives them an incentive to develop these skills.
