Transformers Prime Tales of the Beast Hunters Predaking Review (Hasbro)

What It Is

Tales of the Beast Hunters is a toy line loosely based on the Transformers Prime animated series. There are 16 Deluxe and Voyager Class figures in this line and each comes with a portion of the ongoing story printed on the instruction sheet. This story is broken into paragraphs with each figure having one paragraph. Collect all the figures and you will have the full story. Predaking is Chapter 6 and he continues the story from the Tales of the Beast Hunters Optimus Prime figure that we have also reviewed.

Is It Fun?

Predaking has tons of articulation points in robot mode and is very poseable. He also stands nicely on his own, which is something kids and collectors really like because they can pose and display him without having to prop him up.

He comes with two Hyadrafire Blaster weapons that launch their projectiles when you push the button.

Who It’s For

Predaking is designed for Transformers' fans, ages 5 and up and is a level 2 or intermediate level Transformer to transform.

What To Be Aware Of

We found Predaking to be a little more difficult to transform then some other level 2 Transformers. It took us about 15 minutes to transform him from robot to vehicle and about 5 minutes to transform from vehicle to robot mode.
